Evil Robot Series: #1. Meltor

Often to be found lurking outside ice cream shops, Meltor will eventually return your cone. Once all the ice cream has melted, that is. No known weak points but he favours 99s over Wibbly Wobbly Wonders.

Title: Procrastinate - Mir Fitzgerald

My first post, yeah!!

I was so exhausted thinking of something to sketch...I nearly didn't!! I work very hard at procrastinating but with a little less I hope to post more :P

p.s. Annette thanks for suggesting this word ;o))

Aloha, fellow humans!

Huzzah! A new forum, a new blog, a new password to forget...

Introductions first. I'm Holly Pereira and I like drawing pitchers and words. Not necessarily together, mind, but sometimes text and image do collide.

Favourite ways of working are pen on paper, watercolour, goauche and pencil too.

The piece below was inspired by a country boy, but not in the way you'd think...

Inklings Exhibition

The Inklings Exhibition is still running in the Little Green Street Gallery, Little Green Street, Dublin 1 (just off Capel Street).

Pop down and see it while you can and there are some great bargains to be had on original artwork, too. (Perfect for Christmas presents!)

Open Monday-Friday 11am-6pm and Saturday 12-3pm until 30th November.

Robopirate, arrrr!

This is Captain Pluggs. He enjoys cannons, swashling his buck and anything by John Grisham.

Welcome to Inklings!

Hi, and welcome to our new blog. Inklings is a group of visual artists working in Ireland. We all met working on Adrienne Geoghegan's Illustration Boot Camp and Picture Book courses.

So, we've started this blog to show each other and the world in general what we're working on and make sure we keep illustrating. We'll be showing work based on a particular theme or phrase, and whatever else we are working on too.

We hope you'll like it and keep coming back to see new stuff.
